INGREDIENTS

4 cups peach or apricot juice/nectar, or lemonade

8 tea bags of choice

ice cubes

granulated or superfine sugar, optional

thin lemon slices, optional

1. In nonreactive 3-quart saucepan, heat juice to boiling over high heat. Remove from heat and stir in tea bags. Cover and steep 5 minutes.

2. Stir again and remove tea bags. Pour tea into heatproof 2½-quart pitcher. Add 4 cups cold water. Cover and let stand until ready to serve.

3. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour tea over. Serve with sugar and lemon slices, if using.
